This is a paper that suggests, on balance, the dozenal system (base twelve) is superior to the decimal system (base ten). It explores a dozenal currency as a means to drive transition to math in dozenal and a dozenal measuring system. Such a transition would likely be a multi-generational duration, but we humans slowly adapt our systems to improve.
