What: Rita and Frank cordially invite ye to a small gathering to celebrate Spring and get a head start on St Paddy's Day. Frank has had one of these for the last 35 years. Has to be done.
When: Sat, 10 Mar 2018, starting at 3 pm
Where: 29 Rooksa (Rita's house, with Rooska Gatehouse sign), Lisdoonvarna.
What do I bring? Just bring your festive selves (Spring is in the air).
Rough itinerary:
3 pm to 9 pm: We'll be in kitchen and in back (rain or shine). We'll have the BBQ set up and will be cooking "Paddys" (hamburgers with any bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and special sauce or relish). We'll have sausage too. There will be Guinness (draft from the can), some other beer (hopefully in a green can/bottle), and red and white wine. Small amount of Whiskey may be on hand. We'll play the trad music CD's, and if you bring an instrument, you're welcome to treat us to tunes.
9 pm to 12 pm: We'll walk to Roadside Tavern for live trad music.
